We Love You Bishop!!!
As the year 2010 comes to a close, share how Bishop Kent Branch and/ or Pilgrim Cathedral of Atlanta has been a blessing to your life through the years.
Bishop, I haven't told you this but when Maurice told me about PCA when we were in Kuwait, he always spoke very highly of you and Pastor Di. One evening probably about a month or so before I left Kuwait, he called you in my presence to tell you he had invited me to visit Pilgrim when I returned and to just say, "hi" to you. At the end of your conversation you prayed for him. This was my first impression of you and I must say it has been a lasting impression. I always remember how you had time for him when he called and how you made a point to pray for him. I was impressed that his "Bishop" was approachable and available to him. (which is not always the case with some Bishop's)
When I returned from Kuwait, I visited Pilgrim and when I went to greet you after service for the first time, you remembered who I was from the conversation you had with Maurice from about a month earlier. So my second impression of you was that you actually remembered who I was and that you showed a genuine interest in me.
After I met Pastor Di I KNEW PCA was a place that I wanted to be connected with no matter where I was stationed.
